Pupil Achievements and Awards
In 2006 we had 16 girls in Year 6. Three girls were offered places at Kendrick School and six were offered Scholarships to Independent schools.
In 2007 we had 12 girls in Year 6. Two girls were offered places at Kendrick and five were offered Scholarships to Independent schools.

National Healthy Schools Award - Issued 2006
We successfully demonstrated that The Highlands School is achieving in various aspects which include health education, nutrition, safety and citizenship.
Reading Borough Council’s Quality Assurance Award, modules 1 – 8 for the Early Years Foundation department – Issued January 2007
This is an Investors in Children award which was validated through a series of interviews, observations and evidence over a period of three years.
Food Safety Award - July 2007 – the catering department were awarded a four star Food Safety Award (out of 5 star). This caters for all aspects of food preparation, including food storage, correct temperatures and good hygiene practices.
